She is dedicated to supporting teachers as they enter the world of education, especially special education. Her objective is to provide the research and strategies for classroom teachers to meet the every day challenges and increase understanding of the special education laws and the limits of support provided through special education. This focus is intended to increase student success in both social circles and academic learning.
So often students are not receiving the appropriate instruction for their individual matches, even with the best efforts of the teacher. The nature of the profession and responsibilities of a classroom teacher can overwhelm and create teacher burnout. This consulting business is one agency prepared to support administrators, educators, families, and students in facing academic challenges, while providing an inclusive and appropriate public school education.
E.P.I.C.
Our Objective:
The consultants at Educational Paradigm Inclusive Consulting, LLC are dedicated to improving the lives of students and educators. All students can learn and inclusion mindset is essential in public education. Every child in the United States is entitled to an education in their Least Restrictive Environment (LRE). Therefore, when it is achievable by implementing interventions in the general education classroom there is not a valid reason not to do so. Intervention models that remove students from their classrooms and their social community are not beneficial. In fact, there is research demonstrating it is harmful, even into adulthood.
E.P.I.C. representatives will work with administrators, educators, families, and more to meet the challenge of changing the traditional intervention service model of "pull-out" service and implementing a more inclusive, more successful, and more achievable system within the current resources and district parameters.
